Yoga Therapy
Therapy means Curative Treatment, and thus Yoga
Therapy the tool of Yoga is used to improve the well-being
of the individual. It can be preventative as well as curative.
Conditions such as asthma, multiple sclerosis and back
pain can be alleviated using techniques such as asana
(postures), pranayama (breathing exercises), meditation
and chanting. However, by removing unhelpful patterns
set up in the body, leading to increased mobility, strength
and energy, every individual can benefit.
Each person is assessed and the approach taken is unique
to them and their needs. A programme may be given for
practice at home between sessions.
